In theory, we support any Linux distribution running on an Intel/AMD x86 architecture however a prerequisite is the ability to install the Docker Engine service.
https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/
At time or writing, the Docker website shows packages available for:
- CentOS
- Debian
- Fedora
- Ubuntu
We also run it on Amazon Linux 2 which is a Debian variant.
The Docker website does not currently provide an installation guide for RHEL or SUSE (on x86). You will need to verify that you can indeed install, run and upgrade Docker on RHEL or SUSE before starting the installation of Essential.
For Red Hat, if you already have a license for Docker Enterprise as they do provide a guide for that. You would need to verify if you already have a license for this.

We do not provider support for the installation and maintenance of the Docker Engine. This is a prerequisite that would be your responsibility to install and configure.
